Local Playoff Information and Structure

In the East Texas APA, playoffs are held at the end of each session to determine what team(s) will represent their division. The playoff structure varies from division to division based on division size.

Final Standings, the Wildcard Draw, & Playoffs

The final standings for a division are determined by the Division Representative on the final week of regular session play. Team Captains must report the final week scores to the Division Representative to determine the division standings and playoff order. The Division Representatives will conduct the wildcard draw(s) on the final week of regular session play to determine the final one or two teams, depending on the division size. The wildcard draw is done in one of the host locations by the Division Representatives. Captains/Players are encouraged to stay and witness the wildcard draw. Team captains will be notified on the last week of the regular session if their team made it into the division playoffs. Teams that are past due on their fees or that have violated the forfeiture rule may not be eligible for playoffs.
