TRI-ANNUALS SUMMER, FALL, AND SPRING

The number of teams participating in each Tri-Annual will vary from session to session depending on how many divisions and teams per division. Teams consist of the winning teams from the division session playoffs. Teams may sometimes gain automatic eligibility to the Tri-Annuals tournament based on session qualification guidelines. (HIGH POINTS) If there are any bye's in the Tri-Annual Tournament bracket they will be filled by the team or teams that scored the highest points for that session league wide. Any ties will be broken by a wild card draw. Placement on the bracket will be determined by a blind draw. The Tri-Annual Tournament is a two round single elimination event. Refer to the calendar for dates, times, and locations. Tri-Annuals are in the first 4 weeks of the new session on a Saturday. Winners of the second round will play in the World Pool Qualifier (WP) during the summer session to win a chance to play in Vegas.

The following is an example of the bracket used in Tri-Annuals.

50% RULE FOR WP QUALIFIED TEAMS

Teams that do not finish in the top half of their division in the session(s) following qualifications are subject to a review from the Board of Governors and possible loss of eligibility. If WP eligibility is lost, the offending team will automatically advance to Tri-Annual Tournament to attempt to re-qualify for the World Pool Qualifier.
